Our story

From a drafting tool to a workspace for the whole of legal practice.

Largence was founded in Cambridge, United Kingdom, in 2024 by Oviasogie Oghenetega Edward and Gerald Maduabuchi Okereke.

It began as an AI contract drafting tool, for lawyers and for anyone who needed a document drafted quickly and properly. The people using it kept asking for more: to research the law behind a clause, to keep the draft with the matter it belonged to, to track evidence and deadlines, and to share the work with clients.

So Largence grew into a complete legal workspace. Today it serves individual lawyers on a free personal plan and whole firms on the full platform, across Nigeria, the rest of Africa and the UK.

We built Largence because legal work was scattered across email, shared drives and separate products stitched together with exports. Largence keeps one record for every matter, with verified statute citations and compliance built into every screen.

Mid-market firms should not have to choose between a platform their partners trust and a price their finance team can approve. Individual lawyers should not have to wait for a firm to buy it for them. So we built both, on the same foundations.
